I’m Poke Rafferty. I’m an American, part-Filipino, who now lives in Bangkok, Thailand, and writes books about travel in Southeast Asia. The series is called “Looking for Trouble” and now includes “Looking for Trouble in Thailand”, “Looking for Trouble in The Philippines”, and “Looking for Trouble in Indonesia”. So why does a writer blog? Because when a book is published, there’s nowhere for new information to go. So I’m sticking it here, primarily as a way to get some stories off my chest.
